okay but I could imagine Hide coming back in :re much sadder, much less full of happiness, and a lot more mature. Matured by the harsh realities of life. Just imagine him coming back like this: he doesn’t bleach his hair anymore, so it’s now all brown. He has probably let his hair grow out, and now it is unkempt and covers his face because he is too lazy to do anything about it. He doesn’t dress in bright colors like he used to, and now he wears grey, black, and other dark colors. He no longer has that goofy smile on his face. The smile that used to cheer everyone up is nowhere to be found. He has a sad look in his eyes, and he is always brooding over things. The boy who used to cheer everyone up cannot even cheer himself up. All because he lost his one and only best friend, Kaneki Ken.
I think Hide could help to brink Sasaki out of it though like! do you really HONESTLY think that he would give up so easily after all the two have been through?? really? i just dont see that in his character at all! Hide is the sun and Kaneki is the moon and I think if anyone could bring the moon back it would be the sun no doubt tg
